1st Birthday in Monroe

On Sunday, December 21st we celebrated Kole's first birthday with Kent's family in Monroe. So not only did he get Christmas gifts but birthday gifts as well. Oh my! Good thing he enjoyed ripping up that paper so much, he sure was busy.
As Kole waves to the camera he says "Happy 1st Birthday to me!"
Kole is thinking, "Wow, an awesome train toy!" Mom is thinking, "How are we going to fit all these toys in the car to go home and then fit them all in our house?"

The birthday boy with his very proud dad. What handsome men I have in my life.

Our happy little family. Kole is clapping, one of his new favorite skills. All you have to say is "YEAH" and he starts clapping, such a smart kid.

Thanks grandma and grandpa for hosting the party! I love you too Aunt Jac!

We also celebrated Moriah's first birthday and Samantha's fifth birthday. Moriah is Kent's sister Jenni's fourth child. She was born December 27th and shares a birthday with Samantha, who is Kent's cousins child.

When it was time for birthday cake Kole just picked up his piece right away and dug in! He absolutely loved it. I couldn't believe how fast he ate it, he actually ate a small second piece as well. Definitely has his moms sweet tooth.

Can I get some more of this stuff please?

Again Kole is truly blessed to have so many wonderful people in his life who love him so much and just shower him with gifts. Thanks to everyone for the early birthday celebration.
