Memorial Day 2010

For Memorial Day this year we headed to Wisconsin Dells, this is the official opening weekend for that area. It is a very popular vacation destination in the summer.
Our first night we went to our favorite restaurant there and enjoyed some delicious pizza.
Daddy and Kole as we headed back to the van.

We stayed at Hotel Rome, which is a part of Mt. Olympus. Mt. Olympus is huge, it has both an indoor and outdoor waterpark in addition to an indoor and outdoor theme park. It had enough stuff to keep us busy. Kole enjoyed the kiddie water slides.

Such a big boy going on the train all by himself.

Daddy took a ride with him on the hot air balloons but I think they both got a little dizzy after this one.

Daddy showing Kole how to bowl. You only get to play five frames, I think they scored a 37.

We let Kole pick a game to play all by himself and he ended up winning a bunch of tickets, more than mom and dad did.

This is the scary roller coaster train that has turned Kole into a scaredy cat. He absolutely refuses to go on rides now and really does not like trains anymore. We'll take the blame on that one though, we didn't realize it would go so fast and whip around the corners so quickly.

Before heading out of town we had to play a round of mini-golf, Kole's new favorite game. He even shot a hole in one on green number 7.

Mommy and her big boy. I just love him in a hat.

And one with daddy too.
