As the title says, we are having a very fun-filled summer. As you'll see we have been pretty busy and I got very behind on our blogging. I have definitely made up for it and you'll have lots to look at. You might be scrolling for a while but please do enjoy all the new pictures!

This past weekend we wanted to take advantage of the nice weather so we took Kole over to Menominee Park for a train ride. Getting ready to go.
Menominee Park is right on the water so it is a little windy but I managed to keep my hair out of my face for a family picture.
Then Kole took his first carousel ride.
He did great! Every time we came around he would wave to daddy. This time he even gave him the thumbs up!
Then it was off to the playground so Kole could go down the slide, one of his favorite things to do.
He just had to bounce on the bridge. "Bounce" is one of his new words so he takes advantage any time he can.
Next up, swinging, another one of his favorite summer activities.
Kole likes to sit on the teeter totter but it is pretty short lived.

They do have a little beach at the park. We did not bring our suits but we did pack a picnic lunch and our sand toys to play for a bit.
Kole had fun playing but of course he did have to taste the sand at least once. He wasn't too impressed.
Before heading out to go home for a nap we had to test the water. Lake Winnebago is not the cleanest body of water and I would be hesitant to swim in it but the water temperature was very nice.
