This past weekend was the 30th annual Walleye Weekend Festival in Fond du Lac. We started off the morning by participating in the run/walk. Here we are right before grandpa and Kole start the 3 mile walk.

And they're off...

Kole did an excellent job during the walk. He sat great in the stroller for the whole 3 miles. They finished in about 52 minutes.

Kent and I ran the 2 mile run, we finished in 15:40. Of course Kent could have run much faster but he stayed with me for support. He helped me to shave a minute off of my training time. After the race they always have refreshments, here is Kent enjoying an orange. I don't have a picture of us finishing, grandpa wasn't expecting us that quickly!

After the walk/run we decided to get some food and drink and walk around the park.

We took Kole down to familyland where he got to swing with grandpa.

Then we all took a train ride through the park.

After the train ride we headed back to grandpa and grandma's house for naps. Then we went back to the park to listen to Oil Can Harry. Kole had a great day. He was actually really patient all day and we were really proud of him.

Love the picture of Kent with the orange! Reminds me of years of family vacations--although Jen was usually the one with interesting poses!
