Kole's health

After two good weeks of Kole sleeping through the night we had our worst night yet. Kole woke up around 11:30 or so last night completely out of sorts. He was running a fever and crying uncontrollably. We have never seen him like this before. He definitely gave us a scare. Thank goodness our clinic is open on Sundays. We called first thing this morning and were able to get him in. Turns out he has a double ear infection on top of his really bad cold (nose running like a faucet, coughing so hard he vomits, etc.) The doctor on call gave us a new antibiotic for Kole to try and we have a follow up with our pediatrician on Friday. Looks like we might get the referral for tubes. We are trying hard to keep him hydrated but he is not really interested in liquids right now. Thankfully he did eat some supper tonight and played around a little bit with dad. We even got to see his cute little smile again.
