The name of our resort was the Vacation Village at Weston, which is actually just outside of Fort Lauderdale. It was a timeshare resort but thankfully we did not have to sit through any presentations. 
There were quite a few different buildings. We were in the Ibis, as you can see below, which was nice because it was closest to the main building and to the pool.
We were on the top floor, our lucky number 7. We had a really nice room with a great view. It was like a small apartment. It made for a very comfortable vacation.
This view of the pool is taken from the 7th floor of our building. It was a really nice pool. It was shallow at both ends and got deep in the middle. It had a waterfall and volleyball and an additional kiddie pool. There was lots of chairs, just not always in the shade.
Here is a family picture we took on the last day right before check out. We were thankful we could spend this time together as a family and we realize how lucky Kole is to go on a vacation and a plane ride at such a young age.
