One day we decided to take the long drive down to the Keys. Since it was about a four hour drive (it is very slow because there is only a two lane highway all the way down and you can only go 45 mph) we had to stop occassionally and give Kole a break. On one of our stops he enjoyed some time sitting in the driver seat of the van.

I am sure before we know it he will be sixteen and actually learning how to drive a car. It is a scary thought so we will savor every moment we have right now.

Once we arrived it was lunchtime so we ate at a cute little place right along the water. It had a great view of a marina and there were a ton of large sailboats and yachts. The water down there is beautiful and boating would be a blast. We were thankful there were no storms when we were down there. Tropical storm Fay hit after we were long gone.

Here is a picture of all of us at the restaurant. We got to eat some great fish, it's a must when you are down by the ocean like that.

It was an outdoor restaurant and it did start to get very hot. We thought we would let Kole have a try at drinking some water out of one of our glasses with a straw. To our surprise, as well as his, he actually was able to suck some up. It was so darn cute!
