Since we were at the Brewer game yesterday and wanted to sport our Brewer apparel we thought we would dress Kole in red, white and blue today. I found this cute little onesie at Target and thought it was appropriate for the holiday.
Today we headed to Dubuque, Iowa to a family reunion for Kent's mom's side of the family. Here is Kole posing with great-grandpa CJ and great-grandma Elaine. This was his first time meeting them. We always have the reunion this weekend because grandpa CJ's birthday is July 2nd so we can celebrate that as well. He turned 86 years old, doesn't he look terrific!
Kole also got to meet great-grandma Nan for the first time as well. Most of the year she lives down in Florida so we don't get to see her very much. She will celebrate her 85th birthday in September so we surprised her with a cake.
Since it is such a long drive after the reunion we didn't want to head back home right away so we went over to Kent's cousin Katie's house for some dinner and playtime. Although it kind of looks like a cow, Kole is actually enjoying a little ride on a blowup horse.
With all the commotion of the day Kole fell asleep around 7:30 and we hit the road. Thankfully he slept the whole way home, what a little angel!
